Was stationed in Wanganui when Basil Robins [RIP] and I shared the position of Rural Traffic Officers. I became the sole Rural Officer until Marshall Browning was appointed when Basil retired, and the area was then split in two. I was promoted to Traffic Sergeant and work along side Rey Annasen QSM [RIP]. The Chief Traffic Officer was Alex Campbell who I still have contact with, and still remember to wish him Happy birthday on the 9th September each year. Transfered to NZ Police with all other ex MOT's in 1992 as a Sectional Sergeant, also completed the Police Sergeants and S/Sergeants exams to enhance my path within the force. Became Officer in Charge of Prosecutions, working under the Office of the Commissioner, called "OoC".
